Start sharing memories

This page for remembering Rosemary provides a place for the people who knew her and loved her to come together on line to share their comments, stories, and memories. This page is a work in progress. The important thing was to establish it so we could start sharing memories.

She was always my aunt Rosemary. I can hear her voice speaking to me. She had such a sweet demeanor and personality. She would sit next to me and hug me tight and was so loving and caring.
In Brooklyn we spent many hours together at 8701 Shore Road, that great apartment Grandmother and Grandpa Berry live in. We laughed a lot with our cousins Bobby and Ronny.
When the Berries visited,, our home in CT we were so excited. They brought their boat and we took it out waterskiing.
My mom hated my straight hair so she asked Aunt Rosemary to give me one of those smelly toni home perms,,, I really hated them but I didnt want to disappoint either of them: mom or rosemary. I waited patiently for the curls to come out and then another year when my straight hair came back.
When the parents went out to dinner, we hung out with Bob and Ronnie and laughed our heads off. I guess Holly and the younger kids were in bed ,, who knows?
When we visited the Berries in Indianapolis, Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Bob were such gracious hosts. I feel blessed to have been part of her life. It was an honor. I am going to try to upload some pictures I found.

    Dearest Ron, Holly, and Bob,

You all are in our prayers and always in our hearts and most special to us. Our Stauder and Woods family’s love is flowing from different parts of the world to you all and to your mother and dad. How grateful to know that there is no time nor space in Love—It is Omnipresent and Omnipotent and Omniscient and as children of God we can never be separated from the warmth, comfort, and power of divine Love.

I know that your Mom is hugging and kissing you with grateful love and joy right now and will always be doing so wherever she is and is full of deepest gratitude for her three beautiful children and their beautiful families who were most important, special, and treasured in her life. The special moments with you and your children warmed her heart with such supreme joy. Has been wonderful to keep in touch with you through your Mom, since we all were off in our wonderful, different busy directions and paths even with our meeting different challenges over the years.

We know that Rosemary and you all are in divine Love’s ever-present tender care. Words are difficult to express my feelings at this time of Rosemary passing. She is such an expression of infinite LOVE and JOY—her life so brilliant with purity of lovingkindness, gentleness, active, spiritually-minded, goodness, thoughtfulness, giving, creativity— always radiant with beauty, love, and grace…….. Linda, Anita, and I thought of her as a big sister and loved being with her and her family over the years. She and I spent special moments in rejoicing , sharing our continual discovery and deeper understanding of the spiritual truths Christ Jesus lived, taught, and demonstrated to man, divine Science, the Comforter, being forever revealed to mankind—spiritual reality.

I can’t begin to thank, Ron, enough for his thoughtfulness of sharing what Rosemary was feeling these past weeks and the days and day she passed on and know she heard and felt all our angel messages coming her way.

As I was soulfully reflecting on the Hymn written by Mary Baker Eddy that Ron told me she was singing the tears were pouring out of my eyes with loving thoughts of her and at the same time when reaching the end of the hymn my tears were being wiped away by her beautiful spirit she expressed uplifting my thought to the beauty of expression of Rosie and the joy of LIFE that can never be taken from man:

“O gentle presence, peace and joy and power; O Life divine, that owns each waiting hour, Thou Love that guards the nestling’s faltering flight! Keep Thou my child on upward wing tonight.
Love is our refuge; only with mine eye Can I behold the snare, the pit, the fall; His habitation high is here, and nigh, His arm encircles me, and mine, and all.
O make me glad for every scalding tear, For hope deferred, ingratitude disdain! Wait, and love more for every hate, and fear No ill,–since God is good, and loss is gain.
Beneath the shadow of His mighty wing; In that sweet secret of the narrow way, Seeking and finding with the angels sing: ‘ Lo, I am with you alway,’ —watch and pray.
No snare, no fowler, pestilence or pain; No night drops down upon the troubled breast, When heaven’s after smile earth’s tear-drops gain, And mother finds her home and heav’enly rest.”

Comforting spiritual truth –“In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry. …..Spirit is his primitive and ultimate source of being; God is his Father, and Life is the law of his being.”(Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy)

This led me to the hymn:
“ I know no life divided, O Lord of life, from Thee; In Thee is life provided For all mankind and me: I know no death, O Father, Because I live in Thee; Thy life it is that frees us From death eternally.
I fear no tribulation, Since what – so – e’er it be, It makes no separation Between my Lord and me: Since Thou, my God and Father, Dost claim me as Thine own, I richly shall inherit All good, from Thee alone.”

How beautiful– “The nurse said that on her rounds she found your mom saying ‘Rest in Peace’ and then found that she had passed, by the next round”.

Rosie is continuing to be a sparkling light in perfect Love always living in the ETERNAL NOW of LIFE DIVINE ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE no beginning and no end dwelling in Love, divine Mind the eternal Allness of Life, Truth, Love –Spirit, Soul, Principle.

Love you dearly. Would enjoy hearing from you once in a while or at least once a year and hope that our paths will meet again in the future. Fred and I would love to hear where your paths are taking you and if they lead to Asia, please let us know, would love to have you visit us.

    Peace be with you forever.

With Blessings of Love and Gratitude to you all,

    Deanna
